Jim Corbett National Park, which is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a Project Tiger Reserve lies in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India’s oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. This unique tiger territory is best known as the father who gave birth of the Project Tiger in India to protect the most endangered species and the mighty Royal Bengal Tiger.

How to Reach Corbett:
By Train : Delhi and Ramnagar are well connected with the railway lines. Everyday two trains leave old Delhi Railway station for Ramnagar. The first one is scheduled at 04:00 Pm and the other leaves at 9:50 Pm in the night. The same numbers of trains leave Ramnagar for old Delhi Railway station per day. One at 09:50 Am in the morning and the second one leaves at 9:50 Pm in the Night. It will take six hours approx to reach Ramnagar from Delhi.
By Bus : Anand Vihar is the prominent bus station in Delhi to catch a bus to Ramnagar, these are direct buses to Ramnagar in every half an hour. The bus drive is approx 6 hours.

Nainital: Via Kaladhungi to Ramnagar (62 Kms)
Lucknow: Lucknow – Bareilly – Kicha – Rudrapur – Kashipur – Ramnagar (436 km)
Dehradun : Dehradun – Haridwar – Ramnagar (232 km)
