Hill Expedition Of Kumaon,Uttrakhand

Duration: 7 nights 8 days

Day 1: Delhi to Corbett :

Start off your journey Delhi to Corbett national park,(Nainital) It is about 300km far from Delhi. Its a quite peaceful driving throughout the way.Reach Corbett national park by the evening. Stay at your luxurious resort with a scrumptious dinner at the night. A guitarist will be entertaining you therein by playing the live songs. As tour operators, we advise you to proceed to your cottage a little earlier in the night because you will on your Jungle visit on the upcoming daybreak.

Come out of your resort at 6:00 am after finishing your morning bed tea. Your jeeps are ready to take you to the India’s oldest ‘Jim C0rbett national park. Famous for the mighty Royal Bengal tiger. You will return after four hour. Having been finished your breakfast your cabby would drive you to Nainital. Nainital is well known for its scenic beauty , lakes and for the temples. All have played a greater part to illuminate its history among the other destinations around.

Day 3: Ranikhet:Today your cabby will drive you to Ranikhet. This is your next destination after Nainital. This is a gorgeous patch to Ranikhet. Via Bhawali, Mukteshwar, you will reach there at the lunch time. Check in your resort and take the lunch, after resting for some time, come out and have a stroll of this historical town. You could go to visit the British time golf ground or Chobutia garden(is famous for the Pahari apples).

Day 4:Chaukori: Chaukori is about 150km away from Ranikhet but there are wonderful scenic beauties throughout the way. As in Kausani, Baijnath, Bageshwar are the hill stations one can get to watch en route. Chaukori is located at an altitude of 2010 mts the Himalayas all over and in between is perched the beautiful place of Chaukori. It is undoubtedly a dreamland for the nature lovers. Its environment is completely unaffected by pollution.

Day 5: Munsyari: On the 5th day morning your cabby will drive you to Munsyari. It falls in Pithoragarh district which is incomplete in itself until you visit Munsyari. It is one of the most panoramic hill stations of Kumaon. Surrounded by the hills that are utterly covered with the snow, it offers a breathtaking view of some of the Himalayan peaks and is situated at an almost desolate location. Close to the Tibet (China) & Nepal border, at an altitude of 2135 meters.
A number of challenging treks from Munsyari to Namik, Milam and Ralan glaciers via the narrow Johar velley, an ancient trade route to Tibet are worth going to.

Day 6: Munsyari To Pithoragarh Now it is downwards from here to Pithoragarh, via Thal, Dewathal. It is a complete hill driving. After 5 or 6 hour you will reach Piyhoragarh. This place is called the ‘abode of God’ and also known as little Kashmir’ . It is also landscaped with high forest, waterfalls, perennial rivers, snow capped peaks, passes, valleys and alpine meadows.
A series of temples, glaciers, and the other scenic beauties one can get to watch here. Especially the Patal Bhuvaneshwar temple is worthy to visit.

Day 7:Tanakpur On: Wake up early in the morning. Having taken your breakfast you would be back to your destination today. It will be a different route of getting back from the previous one. Your cabby will drive you to Tanakpur, it is some 150 km far from Pithoragarh. By the evening, if you are exhausted, you can make a night stay in Tanakpur. Next day morning this is a onward journey to Delhi, via Khatima, Kichha, Rudrapur, Rampur, Moradabad to Delhi.
